The Experience

When I was little my mom would tell me all the time that she din't want me to grow up because she wanted little Johannita to stay by her side forever. Well I finally understand how she felt. I know my girls will continue to grow up, but as they go through their growing stages I think to myself how much I'm going to miss them right where they are at. Kids are rapidly changing and their personalities change with age as well and the only thing I have to remember them as they were, in each fun season is the pictures I've taken of them.
That's why I love to do whatever it takes to get those personalities and your child in their season captured so you will always have your babies just a picture away.

As a mom os twins, i know how fast time goes by.

Once we select the date, theres a retainer and contract and after those are completed, your date is locked in!

Once your session is booked, I will give you suggestion ideas on where we can have the photos taken. I also offer my indoor white studio which is a great place to stay cool or warm depending on the season and it creates beautiful timeless pictures.

I will also send you a style guide that will answer all your questions on what to wear and how to prepare for your session.

3. Session Day

I will confirm our session the week before and send you directions and where we will meet.

On the day of your session, prepare to have fun and I will guide you! I will get all the must have shots but I will also get lots of pictures of you interacting with your family and candid moments.

4. Your Photographs

You should receive your pictures within one week of the session. I don't have a limit on pictures I get and you will receive all the selected and edited pictures via email to an online gallery link where you can dowload them high resolution and share them with family and friends.

You will have access to all your pictures for up to one year of the session date.

The Process

Just like fall, winter, spring and summer, being a mom has so many different seasons because our kids are constantly changing, growing, developing their unique personalities. With all of those different seasons they go through, what now may seem like a blur, the only way I can truly remember those moments is to see them in pictures and the memories come alive!

How many of us looking back into our childhood would want to have a newborn picture of ourselves? I sure do and I want to have this pictures of my babies as well but most importantly, I want them to have them too so they know what they looked like, share them in school, and know how important pictures are.

Maternity is yet another short season but so unique. It's your time to feel the joy of being pregnant, show off the beautiful glow that is uniquely a part of being pregnant, and believe it or not you are going to miss the bump in some ways. It's also a quiet season of waiting but just as much part of the beginning of your child's life.

My family and I have been photographed by Johanna for a while now. I can say it was the best decision ever. While shooting she makes us feel comfortable and is very patient because during fall family sessions we always take the dogs so you can imagine kids and dogs on set 🤣. I love the quality and how natural the pictures are. She is very competent and delivers the edited session in a very timely manner. I told her i'll only stop getting photographed by her if she ever decided to not work as a photographer. I love her work and always recommending her to others because she is simply the best.

If you haven't booked a session yet, do it NOW! By far the most dedicated and professional photographer I have ever gone to! These pictures were originally suppose to be newborn family pictures, but because of some health issues with my newborn, we had to postpone it. She was so patient and always so understanding! While taking the pictures, my toddler was being a... well...toddler and she was so cooperative with her and played some of her favorite songs to make the session go smoothly. The pictures turned out beautiful! These are by far the best professional pictures we have ever gotten done!

This was our first time getting professional photos done and I couldn't recommend anyone better than Johanna! She made our experience so easy and was very accommodating to whatever photos we wanted if we had any ideas of our own. She is just absolutely amazing at what she does and I am throughly impressed with our photos! I will definitely be using her in the future for our photo needs! Johanna is WONDERFUL!! She captured the most beautiful pictures of my family and my crabby toddler. She made the children laugh and caught some of the most precious moments of them. Johanna has photographed my family twice now and I will continue to use her as long as I can!
