The Experience
When I was pregnant with my twins, I remember feeling so happy about newborn and maternity pictures for myself. But nothing ended up how I envisioned. I had to get maternity pictures taken in my own neighborhood due to being on bed rest, and my girls where born prematurely so I had their pictures taken when they were 4 months old. Regardless of your own circumstances and the exhaustion of becoming a mom of a newborn, I'm here to make the process as easy as possible for you and to guide you through every step so that you have one less thing to worry about. And most importantly, if things don't go as you envisioned or hope, I'm here to still give you beautiful and timeless images that you will remember with joy.

Once we select the date, theres a retainer and contract and after those are completed, your date is locked in!

Once your session is booked, I will give you suggestion ideas on where we can have the photos taken. I also offer my indoor white studio which is a great place to stay cool or warm depending on the season and it creates beautiful timeless pictures.
I will also send you a style guide that will answer all your questions on what to wear and how to prepare for your session.
3. Session Day
I will confirm our session the week before and send you directions and where we will meet.
On the day of your session, prepare to have fun and I will guide you! I will get all the must have shots but I will also get lots of pictures of you interacting with your baby, family, and candid moments.
4. Your Photographs
You should receive your pictures within one week of the session. I don't have a limit on pictures I get and you will receive all the selected and edited pictures via email to an online gallery link where you can dowload them high resolution and share them with family and friends.
You will have access to all your pictures for up to one year of the session date.
Just like fall, winter, spring and summer, being a mom has so many different seasons because our kids are constantly changing, growing, developing their unique personalities. With all of those different seasons they go through, what now may seem like a blur, the only way I can truly remember those moments is to see them in pictures and the memories come alive!

How many of us looking back into our childhood would want to have really good newborn pictures of ourselves? I sure do. I want to have these pictures of my babies as well but most importantly, I want them to have them too so they know what they looked like, share them in school, and know how important and cherished they are.
Maternity is yet another short season but so unique. It's your time to feel the joy of being pregnant, show off the beautiful glow that is uniquely a part of being pregnant, and believe it or not you are going to miss the bump in some ways. It's also a season of waiting but just as much part of the beginning of your child's life.
If you haven't booked a session yet, do it NOW! By far the most dedicated and professional photographer I have ever gone to! These pictures were originally suppose to be newborn family pictures, but because of some health issues with my newborn, we had to postpone it. She was so patient and always so understanding! While taking the pictures, my toddler was being a... well...toddler and she was so cooperative with her and played some of her favorite songs to make the session go smoothly. The pictures turned out beautiful! These are by far the best professional pictures we have ever gotten done!
This was our first time getting professional photos done and I couldn't recommend anyone better than Johanna! She made our experience so easy and was very accommodating to whatever photos we wanted if we had any ideas of our own. She is just absolutely amazing at what she does and I am throughly impressed with our photos! I will definitely be using her in the future for our photo needs! Book with her and you won't be disappointed!
Johanna is WONDERFUL!! She captured the most beautiful pictures of my family and my crabby toddler. She made the children laugh and caught some of the most precious moments of them. Johanna has photographed my family twice now and I will continue to use her as long as I can!
