The Venue at Daisy Hill was a perfect choice for a winter wedding. Even though it was mid January, Daisy Hill still had plenty of Georgia pine trees, tall grass and a beautiful lake view. The Venue at Daisy Hill is also classic and elegant venue with a Southern feel to it. I love the high ceilings and the white and black colors making it a great area for beautiful wedding pictures.
Tiffany and Giscard found me through Tiffany’s grandmother. She was at a wedding I was photographing in downtown Atlanta and she asked me for my information. Tiffany soon reached out and asked me to take their engagement pictures and booked me as their wedding photographer. I took their engagement photos at Arabia Mountain. At that time of the year, Arabia Mountain was filled with these beautiful yellow flowers everywhere! It was such a beautiful view and it was also great for pictures.
On their wedding day, the weather was perfect! The sun was shining and it wasn’t even cold for that time of the year. Tiffany and Giscard were already comfortable with me since I took their engagement pictures, and the whole day went very smoothly. Specially since they had a first look because the sun sets early in January. That allowed them to have even more time after the ceremony to enjoy their reception.
But what I enjoyed the most was serving such an amazing couple! I have been blessed with so many great couples, and I do not take that for granted. I appreciate my clients for trusting me and allowing me to be a part of their once in a lifetime wedding day!
