When I think about Amy and Jake, I think about how genuine they are. From the very beginning of our conversation, they were honest and true to themselves. They also knew exactly what they wanted and they had already spent sometime reading my website and doing their research before contacting me.
While talking on the phone with them, I was surprised at how much we had in common. They love to workout and eat healthy, they love nature and they love animals too! Our conversation truly felt like we had known each other for years!
But I was mainly drawn to their heart. They are both so incredibly caring and compassionate and ready to help anyone in need. They really cared about me and treated me as a friend. They even told me I was their photographer for life!
Their wedding was held at Group Shelter #1 at Red Top Mountain, but they both got ready at The Hilton Garden Inn Cartersville.
The awesome thing about Group Shelter #1 is that it is very inexpensive to rent, but it is a pretty nice as well. It can hold up to 100 guests which is perfect for the average wedding, and the tables and chairs come with the rental of the place. It also has a nice deck outside with a view to the lake where you can have an outdoor ceremony, or inside as well if the weather is not ideal.
Amy and Jake’s wedding day was perfect! The sun was shinning but it wasn’t hot or cold. The September weather showed a little coolness in the air, just enough to make it comfortable for everyone.
And their reception was just how they wanted it. Short and sweet. No dancing, but some good southern BBQ and cake afterwards.
It was such a blessing to capture such a joy filled day with two people that became friends! I could not have asked for anything more!
